MUA Professional Eye Primer.

I knew this eye primer was good, I just didn't realise how great it was until 2am on a Saturday morning when I realised my eyeshadow was still pretty much perfect, I seriously wish I had before I had before and after pictures because there was hardly any difference between when first applied and when I finally took it off.
Friday night I had battled wind, rain and worse even worse trains! By the time I met the girls (two hours late, but It wasn't my fault.. I swear!) I expected my eye make up to be all over the place although when I went to the bathroom it was the same as when I left which pretty much amazed me.
Although the surprises didn't stop there, when I finally made it back home after another fun train journey (I seriously hate them so much)  I looked in the mirror to find my eyeshadow was still pretty much perfect. For £2.50 this stuff does an amazing job and it's not as if it takes much effort just two quick swipes and you're good to go!
You can find this in selected Superdrug stores or over at MUA's website, Pick one up you seriously wont regret it!

Free Benefit Minis with InStyle.

Armed with just a fiver in my purse, I finally had the chance to pick up a couple of copies of Instyle this weekend. I am loving this thing they have going on with Tesco, £2.50 sounds so much cheaper than £3.80! (Plus it meant I could pick up two copies!)

I was really shocked with the number of magazines left without freebies because people had actually riped the plastic apart to steal them. Which is really unfair to those actually buying the magazine! It seems Tesco spotted this too because their magazines are now 'Security Protected'  - Which clearly is a load of bull since its just a sticker, but hopefully it might stop this happening.
Luckily for me they still had all three Benefit goodies; Benetint, Cha Cha Tint and Sun beam. Although I only picked up Cha Cha Tint and Sun Beam as they appear the most popular online and I was worried if I left one of them until next time I wouldn't get the chance to try them but I will be going back at some point next week for benetint

(Please ignore my nails, I had glitter on over the weekend although being me it was picked off by the end of last night!)

So far I'm loving both products!  I have nothing like these in my stash so It's been fun playing around with these this morning, I was worried that Sunbeam wouldnt work on me because I am so pale, but as a highlight I think it works great and I cant wait to incorporate it into my make up routine next week. I also love the look of Cha Cha tint on my lips (it doesnt look as orange as I was expecting) Although I will probably post full reviews at some point next week.
There's also a voucher inside so that you can grab a free BADgal lash mascara when you bring the page to any participating Benefit Beauty Bar. Which is great value for money, although I wont be bothering since I already have a sample size in my make up draw. In case anyones wondering about sizes/price, These sample size's are 4ml each which works out just under a third of the full size products.

Have you guys picked your copy up yet?!

MUA Eyeshadow's used, Lip butter, Colour corrector stick, MUA Cream Blush

Last night I met up with some friends for the first time in a while. They live pretty far from me, the journey involves trains and everything - Which I'm terrible at getting! Above are the make up items I used, It was my first chance to really put some of the newer products to the test! So expect full reviews on the MUA primer, Blush and eyebrow kit as well as the colour corrector stick (which I've been meaning to post about fully for a while now) within the next few days.

Carmex...

I always have what seems like a hundred lip balms on the go, but as the weather gets cooler there's only one lip balm for me. Normally I go for the tube, but thought I'd try the classic one in pot form  since it was half price the other week. I find Carmex is the best for me when it comes to adding moisturise, I also find it lovely and cooling on the lips.
I do quite like the idea of the pot form of Carmex although I found that it was quite small and sometimes hard to get the product out. That in mind I still think it's a fantastic product considering the price point and will be buying again.
You can buy Carmex products from a host of stores including Superdrug (here)

Gabrini Nail Polish in M107

When my Nan went on holiday recently she was lovely enough to pick me up a few gifts including this nail polish from a brand called 'Gabrini' - I hadn't heard of them before, but from what I've found on google it seems they're an Turkish brand who have a quite a lot colours in their Summer Edition collection.

I really liked this colour, and it lasted a good few days before any chipping took place. From what I can make out from the Turkish blogs I've come across which feature this product It's pretty inexpensive too! There are many comments on the smell - Which I can understand, as Its pretty strong stuff, Although very much worth it for this lovely shade!

I hope you guys enjoyed seeing a different product today opposed to the current ones doing their rounds with bloggers lately, Personally I really like hearing about the brands other places have - Even if they arent the easest to get hold of in the UK!

Two quick and easy ways to make the most of your face mask!

I really enjoy using face masks, but sometimes you're given way too much for your face and the rest of the product finds it's way into the bin or piled on top of your face. I was thinking the other day about ways to combat this waste when I thought of two really simple ideas to make your money go that little bit further.

My first idea is extremely easy and just involves folding the packet over and adding a couple of clips to maintain the freshness of the product until you want to use it next time. This will be great for a quick fix and involves something most people use on a daily basis (If not you can pick up clips for under £1 - Think of all the money in masks you will save!) Although if you're looking for something more secure my next idea may be for you.

Moving your product to a spare container really makes you consider just how much product is there! My pot is an old Soap and Glory Mini covered in glitter for good measure although travel pots such as this one from Boots work just as well. Doing this allows you to use the mask as many times as you wish without fear of it drying out and really focus on your key areas - I predict that I will be able to use this 4/5 times across my T-Zone rather than just once on my face.

I hope this helped you guys! And please let me know if you like these types of posts.

Look make me blush in Flush

Normally when I visit Superdrug I have a bit of a plan of what I want to get, Although that all went out the window the other week when I spotted this blusher half price! I debated for a while over what shade to pick - In the end I walked away with shade 2 ('Flush') and I'm so happy I did!

Up until recently I was pretty scared of blush, I lack many make up skills - applying blush and most other face products tends to be some of them. Although after trying my Revlon Blush I've started to feel more confident with trying these sorts of products so figured I'd give these ago since the colour range was so great.

For me, Look beauty beats most other highstreet contenders on the packaging front - It just looks so much more expensive than its £8.00 RRP. Plus it has an added mirror which I always love!

The shade it's self is a lovely peachy shade with a tone of shimmer - This worried me at first but it transfers to the skin as a lovely glowy shade, perfect for everyday use.

You can pick this up for £8 from selected superdrug stores or online here. I think I need more shades!
