How much is my face worth?

Generally I'm not a huge fan of 'tags', I mean in the form a video I quite like them - but endless rows of Q&A style writing on a blog post? No thank you! This is the first 'Taggy' post I've done here on my blog because I'm pretty eager to know myself how much it actually costs me to get ready in the morning. I pride myself on being pretty careful with my money (I was going to say cheap there, haha) so I do not expect mine to be anywhere near all of these £100+ faces that have been doing the rounds. How I wear my make up changes far too much, So I thought I'd show you guys exactly what I wore to my lessons today although it changes depending on my mood/how late I'm running.

Although I only brought them a week ago, I'm loving both the powder and mousse foundation from Maybelline and have been getting plenty of use out of them both (expect reviews soon). As normal I have my trusty witch primer, as well as my new favourite blush from Revlon - I also used my Chit Chat highlighting concealer  Which I forgot to photograph!

Face total = 31.64

On an every day basis I'm never too over the top with my eyes, Because If I'm really honest I would rather just sleep for longer than have the chance to show off with my lack of eye make up skills. Like today, most of the time I reach for one of my MUA Palette's (I try to change these weekly to insure I use them all) I've really found myself abusing shade one of the undressed palette this week!

Eyes Total = 10.98

I often forget about my lips when I'm in a rush - But luckily today I started at 11 (I love my timetable!) So I had the chance to put some of my favourite lip products to use!

Lips Total = £10.98

Grand Total = £53.60

To be fair the amount I've spent is probably far less than my total because I did find a lot of this stuff on offer (Like 2 for £10 and maybelline, half price witch and finding bargains in the pound shop!) Saying that I'm rather pleased with the fact the RRP of my face is just over £50 - Some people manage that on just two products!

On a final note, Thank you to all of you that entered my giveaway - It was lovely to see so many of you enter! A big congratulations to the winner (who I will be contacting over twitter), I really enjoyed hosting it and hopefully I'll be able to do one again in the future!

My Skincare Routine.

(I apologise for these rubbish photos! I have no idea what's going on with my camera this week)
I've been promising a skincare routine post for ages now, but I just find it too hard to stick to one - although over the past couple of months these are the products I've been putting my trust in. For me a lot of the things I do to my skin happen of an evening. Depending on my mood I will use this Naked Duo - Which leaves my skin feeling so so soft! or my St Ives Scrub and Neutrogena 2-in-1 wash and mask which are great for those bad skin days.

I always find myself reaching for  No7's eye make up remover which effortlessly takes all my eye make up away (I really hope they give out some £5 off vouchers soon so I can stock up). I also recently rediscovered Clearskin's Blemish Clearing Peel Off Mask which I hated when I first brought it, although I started using it again on blemishes again about a week ago and haven't put it down since, It does a great job at tackling any skin issues I have overnight!

I cant say I do too much to my face in the morning (other than apply my make up), but lately I've found a quick morning routine that suits me and the fact I like to wake up believably late. First I use my Etat Pur Micellar cleansing water (Which is running out fast - If you know of any other water based cleansers on the high street please let me know in the comments!) followed by my Neutrogena Multi-Defence daily moisturiser which I found a while back in savers for under £4! I also like to keep my Witch stick near by for any unexpected break outs as It does a really good job at tackling them.

What products have you guys been loving lately?

Colortrend Lipstick in 'Flirt'

I've mentioned before that I really like the new design of the Colortend range from Avon - So it was only fair I tried an freshly made over lipstick! Personally I thought the shade 'Flirt' would be a lot lighter (Like in this image) although the orangey/red shade is still lovely in its own right.

Although I don't feel like this is the colour for me, I found this colour trend lipstick to be both well pigmented and comfortable to wear. For just £3.75 a lipstick - I may have to try some other shades in the future!
You can pick these up over at Avons website.

New Look Sale Jewellery

When I was younger it was rare that I was without a single piece of jewellery - I had a thing for long necklaces and a million and one bracelets, Although as I've gotten older I seem to have ditched the obsession altogether. So when I saw the sale stand in New Look I had to have a look and even walked away with a few bits!

This mix of bracelets and bangles was reduced to just £2 from £5.99! It was the Rose bracelet which sold me, I thought It was lovely and worth the £2 alone. Although the pearls aren't really my cup of tea, I still see myself getting use from all the others - Which look lovely together!

This lovely flower themed cuff was reduced from £6.99 to just £3 - I think there's actually a part missing in the middle although I really like it the way it is and see myself wearing it lots in the near future.

I haven't shopped in new look in a while and was left really impressed, especially with their flats (I even went back and brought them in another colour!)

2 for £10 on Maybelline Make-up

While shopping in Superdrug on Friday this great deal from Maybelline cosmetics caught my eye - And being me I had to take them up on the offer! Currently in Superdrug all Maybelline products are two for £10, And considering some products are priced around the £10 mark alone - Its a pretty good deal. Originally I went into Superdrug looking for the MUA BB cream to add to my ever growing BB collection, But the idea of a 'mousse' foundation really stood out to me (and it only worked out £1 more expensive!) so I picked it up, Along with the Dream Matte Powder which is perfect for on the go applications with its built in mirror and applicator. I cant wait to try these products although I haven't had the chance yet - The sun hasn't made much of an appearance, although hopefully tomorrow it will be nice enough for me to get snapping at them! (Hints the rubbish lighting in the above photo - Sorry I've been all over the place in the last few days and really wanted to let you know about this deal)

Will you be making the most of this offer? And Don't forget you can still enter my Giveaway!
