Wild Cherry Body Butter

I'm quickly becoming a big fan of The Body Shop! After receiving a gift set for Christmas I had to have a look around the store (Especially after seeing the sale sign!)
I have really liked using strawberry body butter that came in my gift set, So wanted a replacement for when it runs out. This one caught my eye, I'm not sure I would spend £12.50 on it - But a fiver seemed pretty reasonable.

I really like the smell of this body butter, Unlike other 'Cherry' scents, This seems less artificial and overpowering and more subtle.
The body butter itself is quite thin in texture and absorbs into the skin quickly - A little goes a long way meaning it should last me a while too!
I love how moisturised it left my skin in just one use, I think I may have to pick up a few back ups!

Primark Beauty Nail Polish Set

Admittedly I picked up this little set a couple of weeks back purely because of the cute box,
But I figured they were only £2, so why not.

Inside were four cute 6ml sized polishes;
Posy, Bare, Siren and Satin

After seeing the brush, I was a little worried about application,But I actually found it really easy.

For just £2 I was really impressed! I didn't get along with all of the colours,
But this set was definitely worth the price tag, I was really impressed with posy and siren;
While posy reminds me of a Nails Inc colour which I love Siren's bright shade really took me by surprise.
Just one coat of each colour left my nails looking like this:

I quite liked the colour bare too, although I just didn't get on with Satin.
It seemed to be stuck in that dry/sticky stage for way too long!

After just two coats my nails were good to go, I love this mix of colours!
What do you guys make of the Primark beauty range?

Barry M Croc Effect!

I've been waiting to try this Effect polish for a while, So When I spotted it in superdrug last week- I had to buy!

This is my second time trying the polish, The first time looked terrible so I didn't bother to photograph,
I feel like with this polish you get better with practise and as you can see the instructions are a little more complex the the original crackle polish:

With this polish the effect really depends on your base colour, but I love the way it has a glossy finish compered to the fakeyness of the Crackle.

I think this is a polish that I will be practising with over the following months (hopefully I'll get better with it)
Overall I quite like the results and I'm happy to say, there is a clear difference between this and the crackle.
You can pick this polish up for £3.99 at Superdrug

Avon Goodies!

I always find myself ordering something from Avon as soon as the brochure finds its way through my door,
I think its partly the novelty of it, The idea of getting beauty products right to your door.
I mean online shopping has the same thing going for it, but there's something about Avon which leaves me crawling back for more even on my poorest days.
This month was no different, One look over the deals and I was pretty much sold sold, Here's what I brought this time;

Eyeshadow Brush with smudger- I'm not the biggest brush person, I pretty much have what I need which is only a few brushes daily (Although I have my eyes on the real techniques ones!) This brush is priced at £5, but Avon are known for there deals - I brought for £3, although its currently being sold for £2.50 in their brochure! Its pretty small and double ended making it easier to just pop into your bag if your on the go. It feels like really good quality especially if you consider the low price point. I look forward to using this, maybe I'll even write a post if I love it that much.

Infinite Moment purse spray- As much as I love my Vera Wang perfume, Its pretty pricey for such a small bottle which sometimes puts me off using too much of it. Ever since I was a kid I remember rubbing my arms on the Avon book to smell the perfumes. I was pretty much drawn to this smell from when it launched but at the time I didn't really have the £13 to waste for the bottle. When I saw the purse spray for just £3, How could I say no? I'm terrible at describing anything let alone smells, But it smells good okay. Its one of those ones that seems to smell better after you've been wearing it a while.

True Colour Eyeshadow Duo in Deep Forest- This was the product I was most exited to see and I was not disappointed! Shockingly I have never actually tried an Avon eyeshadow despite ordering from pretty much every brochure. This isn't a colour I would normally go for, but after seeing swatches on another blog I was sold, Full review coming soon!

Nail experts mineral fix- I'm always on the look out for more products for my forever growing nail collection, So I was pretty much sold by the fact that this was only £2!

Have you guys tried any of these products before?

My latest buys

I mentioned yesterday in my Dr Balm post that I had broke my spending ban with the aim of getting some new clothes. I ended up with a couple of tops, Jeans and a pair of flats before blowing the rest of my money on beauty related treats, Why am I such a sucker for a good deal!?

I saw the Barry M croc effect instore finally and had to have it.
Currently in Superdrug if you buy two Barry M items you get a free eye pencil- They saw me coming!
So I picked up another nail paint in the colour Peach Melba its such a pretty shade, although I do kinda regret not picking up the gold effect one to go with the croc effect.
I look forward to using all of these products, Reviews coming soon.

I didn't even bother to look inside this primark beauty set before buying, I just saw the pretty box and was sold!

I actually really like the posy and Satin colours, So I cant wait to see how they apply.
Normally I wouldnt expect much out of something that cost me £2 for four nail polishes, but primark beauty has proved me wrong in the past.

I saw this half price in Superdrug so snapped it up, Since I have brought so many hair treatments in the past month I think I will do a round up post soon on what I have tried rather than bore you with individual reviews.

Miss Sporty - Dr Balm

Miss Sporty isn't a brand I tend to reach for often, Its aimed at young teens and just doesn't appeal to me,
After a spending ban which lasted way too long, I decided to treat myself in superdrug today.
I was looking at the Revlon products when I spotted these on a two for £2.99 stand and really wanted to give them a go.

I picked two of the three shades available (Gossip kiss and Sweet kiss) although there are five different shades on Miss Sporty's website

The packaging is similar to Nivea lip products, with the balm being housed in a protective case,
I actually quite like it its simple and cute with a tiny £1.99 price tag.

Left- Sweet Kiss, Right Gossip kiss

My lips have been stinging all day, These felt so moisturising when I put them on.
I love the subtle colour these give my lips. They're great for everyday use and possibly a cheaper alternative to the eagerly awaited Revlon lip butters!
I really like these lip balms, and will be buying again if I run out!

Free Percy & Reed with Glamour

When it comes to magazines, Glamour is probably my favourite.
It seems to constantly have amazing Freebies, At just £2!
I'm not a regular reader of any magazines lately if I'm honest,
If I do pick one up it will be because of the freebie, like this one in Aprils Glamour.

I think another reason I favour Glamour is because of the content,
Although it contains a lot of adverts, there was actually an article in the first 100 pages- result!
I brought Elle last month for the free Soap & Glory mascara and was amazed at the amount of ads!
It seriously shocks me that they charge nearly £4 for you to see advertisements..

I was so happy when I got home and realised that Jennifer Lawrence was on the cover!
I'm seriously counting down the days until The Hunger Games is out, I'm such a fan!

I picked up the Quite Frankly Flawless Finishing Polish worth £10- I'm not too sure why I did,
I was in a rush and picked up the first one I saw, Although I'm going back for the Totally TLC Hydrating Mask!

'Recreate runway gloss at home with this lightweight finishing shine,
Smooth a dot over the palms and run over finished styles'

I've never tried anything like this before so it should be a nice change,
Plus you only need to use 'a pea sized amount' so it should last for a while.

There was also a free sample of Estee Lauder's Invisible fluid makeup which I look forward to trying

Will you be buying any magazines this month?
