Younique Lucrative Lip Gloss

Younique Lucrative Lip Gloss loyal
I have wanted a clear lipgloss to wear over more drying lipsticks for a while now, so was really grateful when the lovely Becky sent one my way. 'Loyal'* is one of ten glosses in Youique's Lucrative Lipgloss range. They're all packaged in the same sturdy looking casing and come complete with a handy mirror on the side.
Loyal is a clear gloss, with what appears to be a lot of shimmer running through it, although once this is on the lips it isn't half a scary as it may look in the tube! In fact I think this slight shimmer helps give lips a more plump effect which is always an added bonus!
Younique Lucrative Lip Gloss
I've found that Loyal to be very comfortable to wear on the lips as it isn't sticky at all! Although It's the applicator on this which makes the product really easy to apply and I simply adore the shape of it! If I'm using this over another product I never use the wand itself to apply the gloss as I don't want to stain it, instead I will simply place the product on the back of my hand, then apply to the lips with a brush or my fingers. Despite really loving the wand this comes with, I also love this way of applying the gloss as you can alter just how much you want to use on the lips.
I have enjoyed trying Loyal with different lipsticks over the past week or so, Although one of my favouite combos has to be this one which I posted on instagram yesterday, I found that the gloss needed to be retouched after a couple of hours, but didnt take away from the overall lipstick wear time.
At $15 this isn't the cheapest lipgloss in the world, but if your after a nice quality clear gloss, this could be the one for you! Younique offer a lovely range of colours which you can see here. Its full of amazingly pigmented shades which would really give liquid lipsticks a run for their money!

My current top five lip products

Hi Guys, I hope you're all well! Although I had posts up all week, they were scheduled I haven't had the chance to write a post in nearly a week now because of my exams (only two more go!) It's lovely to be blogging again today. I also hit 200 GFC followers and 30,000 page views last night which was amazing - Thank you to each and every one of you who have taken the time to read, follow and comment on this blog! I try so so many lip products every month, and although I've found many that I love, very few manage to make it into my make up routine. I've noticed lately that there are five products that I find myself reaching for above the others - mainly consisting of nudes!
From left - right; Rimmel lasting finish in shade 101, Revlon lipgloss in orchid, Revlon just bitten balm stain in honey, Revlon lipgloss in peony, Look Beauty in Petal nude

Rimmel Lasting finish by Kate in shade 101

This has to me my favourite lipstick in my make up collection - It pretty much lives in my bag since it seems to go perfectly with every make up look! As always I have linked my full review above so I'd recommend checking that out if you want to here more about this - Its worth every penny!

Revlon Lipglosses

I some how ended up with two of these, one was a gift from a friend and the other sent to me by Revlon after I won a Christmas giveaway of theirs. I personally think these are the best lipglosses on the highstreet, while Orchid offers an amazingly pigmented purpley pink shade, Peony is a lovely 'everyday' subtle pink shimmer which I love. I find them both to be non sticky and non drying!

Revlon balm stain in honey

I've been loving this and hope to have a full review up soon, I love how it glides onto the lips so effortlessly and leaves a non drying stain! The colour is so me too!

Look Beauty Loud Lips in Petal Nude

Again I have linked a full review above it's just a perfect nude but a little bit more shade! Half price at the moment too!

ColorTrend: plumped pink lipgloss

I'm pretty excited about ColorTend this month because when I was flicking through my friends Avon book I spotted that they had changed their packaging like I suspected in this post, I love the new look and have already put in an order for a couple of bits!

I picked this plumped pink lipgloss up for £2.50 from Avon (normal price £4) a few months ago, the purpley pink colour isn't something I would normally go for - But it looked so lovely on the model that I had to give it ago! The packaging is amazing, It's so unique and it really stands out against my other lip products.

The gloss itself was lovely and pigmented as well as being comfortable to wear on the lips, It doesnt feel like other plumping lip products I've tried that sting - The only way I can sum up the feeling of this gloss is like a fresh feeling that only lasts around a few minutes before disappearing anyway. It isn't too sticky to wear and I can see myself wearing it lots over the summer.  What do you guys think of Colortrends new look!?
