NYX comes to the UK | Haul

I was so excited when I heard NYX was coming to the UK, and even more excited when I heard Boots would be stocking them (hello advantage card points!).

The lip section of my local NYX stand is always manic, meaning sadly for me loads of bits that I wanted to try out of stock. Although, I did manage to walk away with four lip beauties! I picked up this Butter Gloss in 'Angel Food Cake' (£5.00), this NYX soft matte lip cream in 'Istanbul' (£5.50), this NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in 'tea & cookies' (£6.50) along with this NYX slide on Lip Pencil in the shade 'Bedrose' (£5.50). As you can tell I love a nude lip and cant wait to share my thoughts!

I've heard amazing things about NYX's line of completion goodies, So I also picked up some face bits including, this NYX Color Correction Liquid primer in green (£9.00), Wonderstick in 'light/medium' (£10.00), Gotcha Covered concealer in 'ivory' (£5.50), and this lovely Rouge Cream blush in 'tea rose' (£6.50). I'm most excited to try the contour stick as its unlike anything else I own!

Please let me know if you have any more suggestions, as I cant wait to try more from the range!

GOSH | Giant Blush in 'Shy'

Gosh giant blush superdrug
As soon as I saw these 'Giant blush' sticks on Gosh's social media pages I knew 'Shy' had to be mine. It's just the perfect subtle shade ready for everyday use, made super easy for on-the-go by the practical packaging. While I love that the packaging makes this easy to apply, I also adore the style of it and love that the twisty bit (very technical term here) corresponds with the shade inside meaning that this blush stick is easy to find in anyone's makeup collection.
Gosh giant blush shy
With one quick swipe, this Gosh giant blush stick gives me enough product for my desired look. I simply then take my fingers or my oval blending brush and let the super bendable formula work its magic. The look lasts all day, even in the heat with been experence lately!
Gosh giant blush review
As far as cream blushes go this is a fantastic product, and is definitely becoming a fast favourite! You can pick this up for £6.99 from Superdrug here. (although its currently on buy 1 get 2nd half price)

Loreal Nude Magique Cushion Foundation

Loreal Nude Magique Cushion Foundation
If there's one foundation i've been loving lately it's this Loreal offering. I'm a huge fan of glowing skin, so when I saw that this Nude Magique Cushion Foundation promised a 'dewy glow' I knew I had to pop it into my basket. As far as I know, this is one of the only cushion style foundations on the UK market, and I for one am happy it can be found on the high street. Now, If we're being completely honest at £14.99, this isn't the cheapest foundation out there. However Loreal are one of those brands which you can always find on offer - and I bagged mine for under a tenner!
Loreal Nude Magique Cushion Foundation
I adore the packaging of this! Having always favoured pump style foundations in the past, I wasn't sure how much I'd like this compact style one, however it's definitely grown on me. Firstly you have everything you need for application on the go in this small compact, including a generously sized mirror and sponge applicator. I also really appreciate the fact that the lid covering the foundation opens to the side, meaning you can still use the mirror as you apply!
With that said, I've never actually used the sponge supplied - I'm a little obsessed with keeping my make up in prime condition. I do however apply this with cheap sponges that you can find in Boots and Superdrug and find that they do a wonderful job. I also do this to keep things as hygienic as I can as you are repeatedly dipping this into the cushion.
Loreal Nude Magique Cushion Foundation
I of course own the lightest shade porcelain, and find that it blends into the skin effortlessly. While I find that initially this gives a sheer finish, you can really build the coverage and easily take this from day to night! Regardless of the look you desire, I find the foundation lasts all day without feeling heavy on the skin - And what's more it has a SPF 29 - Perfect for the weather we've been having recently!
So there you have it, my review of one of the best foundations on the highstreet. This is currently £14.99(and on 3 for 2) at Boots and Superdrug or you can find it for £10.49 at ASOS.

Memebox special #11 Cacao

MEMEBOX SPECIAL 11 CACAO
Two of my absolute favourite things are beauty and chocolate, so when Memebox emailed to say they were sending me the Cacao Cosmetics box* I was over the moon, as I probably would have brought it for myself anyway. If you don't know the drill already, Memebox are a beauty box service who ship directly from Korea to 44 countries around the world. They're not a subscription service meaning you simply pick the boxes you wish to receive. Prices range in value with the average box being under $30.
MEMEBOX SPECIAL 11 CACAO
As I've mentioned, this time I was lucky enough the sent the Superbox #11 Cacao Cosmetics, and its quite possibly my favourite Memebox yet!. Filled to the brim with six full sized products, The Cacao Cosmetics box retails at just $23 (£13.70) and contains a amazing $81 worth of products!
MEMEBOX SPECIAL 11 CACAO
Etude House Milk Talk ($7.00/200ml) - I feel like committed some kind of blogger crime in never trying an Etude House product before, I hear so much about their products from the community and am excited to try something from the brand for myself! This is basically a body wash/bath milk which smells just like chocolate milkshake! I used it in a bath yesterday and it left the whole room smelling of chocolate - heaven! The packaging is also super cute, I think even after I'm finished this I'll have to keep it proudly on display!

WondeRuci Cacao Brightening Mask ($38/100g) - This Cacao brightening mask smells (and looks a bit) like brownie mix! It comes packed in the most beautiful looking pot, ensuring that it's easy to get to every last bit of product. I used this on my skin last night and found that it really helped to brighten up my face, it also left my skin feeling lovely and smooth too! This is pretty sticky so I would recommend using an old foundation brush to apply, not only will it make the mask mess free, you'll be able to get a super easy application too! Incase your wondering below is what the mask looks like inside.
MEMEBOX SPECIAL 11 CACAO
Pure Smile Essence Mask Chocolate Milk ($1/23ml) - This is a chocolate scented sheet mask which claims to be rich in milk protein nutrients, cacao extracts, vitamin E and collagen. I haven't used a sheet mask yet so am really excited to try, as it claims to hydrate and smooth out uneven skin texture!

Eva Vitamin Cleansing Dessert Magic cream soap Coconut & Cacao ($18/130G)- I know I've already said it but I'm loving the packaging of everything in this box, everything is either really expensive looking or really cute like this magic cream soap which you can see in the first image. I've never come across anything like this cleanser before, as you can see above it has a mouse like texture which claims to reach deeply into your pores leaving your face clean and smooth. I look forward to putting this to work once I've finished my current cleanser!
MEMEBOX SPECIAL 11 CACAO
Pure Smile Choosy Lip Scrub ($11/25g) - I've had a couple of choosy products in past boxes so I'm excited to try more from the brand. This lip scrub contains; sugar, cacao extracts, bees wax, shea butter, jojoba oil, macadamia oil and claims to remove dead skin, nourish deeply and add extra luster to your dry chapped lips

Purederm Nose Pore 6 strips Choco Cacao ($6) - I've used nose strips before, but never scented ones so I'm interested to see how there work. There are six in this box, so they should last me a good while too!
MEMEBOX SPECIAL 11 CACAO
So there you have it, everything in my favourite Memebox yet! I just think this would make a perfect gift for anyone as chocolate obessed as I am! Sadly I've just Looked at this box appears to be sold out! Although there's tones of new boxes to look at here! Have you tried memebox yet?!

Memebox Superbox #33 Collagen

I've mentioned Memebox a couple of times here now, although in case you missed my previous blog posts, Memebox is a Korean beauty box service. Unlike most, they aren't a subscription service meaning you can simply select the boxes which appeal to you. Memebox have a really extensive range of boxes over on their website which cater to a range of budgets with their cheapest box being just $15! I also think shipping is pretty affordable too at just $6.99, especially considering how far this has to travel!
This week I was scent the Superbox #33* to try which retails at $35 and contains an amazing six full sized products! Personally when I think of collagen I automatically think of anti ageing skincare, so was really pleased to see such a impressive range of products in this Collagen themed Memebox. Not only is there a lovely mix of skincare products in the box which offer a range of different benefits, they've also managed to include a make up and hair item meaning I can see myself getting use out of every single product!
Superbox's are a little more expensive than the other Memebox I have featured, although I definitely think this reflects in the value of the products you receive. This box retails at $35 although the products inside add to $186 which I'm sure you will agree is amazing value for money. Every product in this Collagen box is also full size, meaning you're really getting your moneys worth!
As always this came with a card explaining what each product is and how to use it, which is a complete lifesaver as the majority of the packaging is in Korean.
Ramosu Carestory Collegen Extract ($36/10ml) - Although this is quite medicinal looking, this product is described as a '100% concatenated collagen ampule which will deliver intense hydration, and facilitate cell regeneration for more supple and firmed up babyskin' you simply use a couple of drops on the face per application meaning it should last a really long time. I tested this on the back of my hand earlier and found it left it so soft! I really cant wait to include this in my skincare routine.

Dermahouse Collagen Firming Cream ($29/30ml) - This cream containing collagen and Shea butter promises 'disappearance of fine lines, improvement of the skin texture and clarity of your skin'. Personally I'd be really interested to see if this works in terms of clarity!

Dewytree Real Collagen Nutrition Serum ($39/50ml) - For me this Serum is one of my favourite things included in the box and promises to 'treat enlarged pores, sagging skin and signs of aging'. I've applied this to my face a couple of times now and have been blown away by it, my face has never felt so smooth! I'm also really interested to see if this helps treat my enlarged pores, so will be sure to post a follow up review. I'm also a huge fan of a packaging!

3W Clinic Collagen Make-up Base ($30/50ml) - This was the product I was probably the most excited about when I opened the box! This make-up base is basically a green primer which 'contains blemish-control powder components' and helps to maintain your make up all day long. I told you this box wasn't going to be just anti ageing skincare, and I really love that there's a product in here targeting a different skin type! Again I adore the packaging on this one, it's a glass bottle so it feels really expensive, its also an impressive 50ml too!
The skin house wrinkle collagen free spot ($28/30ml) - I know I've played the packaging card twice already, but just look at how high end this product looks! Possibly my favourite product aestetically speaking! This treatment can be used to 'nullify the signs of aging by filling in between lines and winkles', it can also be used as an eye cream. Personally I don't suffer from any form of lines or wrinkles so for me personally this will be used as an eyecream. It's a massive 30ml size so imagine this will last me ages!

Abelle So Hot-Burning Concentrate Ampoule ($24/20ml) - The last product is a hair one, which was a nice surprise in a collagen box. I cant get over the price of this, although I guess why that's why I love Memebox, you really do get value for money! You basically use this product after shampooing and apply it evenly throughout your hair, place a cap over your head and leave it there for 5-15 minutes, then rinse off with warm water. I'm really excited for this one and cant wait to put it to the test as I love hair treatments!

So there you have it, My first Superbox! Personally I love that this box wasn't just aimed at more mature skin, I'm only 19 and I can see myself using each and everyone of these products!  Memebox have been lovely enough to give me another code to give to you guys, meaning throughout the month of August you can get $5 off of any order with the code 96ZGKX (one use per customer). Will you be trying memebox?

Memebox Scentbox #3

Sometimes I cant help but find myself utterly disappointed with some of the beauty boxes on offer in the UK, So when Korean based brand Memebox got in touch to tell me about their beauty boxes I jumped at the chance to try one! Memebox offer an amazing range of boxes which you can see here, ranging in both price and themes. Unlike other beauty boxes, they aren't a rolling subscription service meaning there are no commitments and you can buy the boxes as you please.
I was sent the scentbox #3* filled with a selection of grapefruit themed products to try. I believe the this is one of three scentbox's Memebox offer along with rose and baby powder. They retail at just $15 (£8.76) plus delivery which I'm sure you'll agree is amazing value when you've seen the contents of the box!
While I'm sure many would assume delivery would be a lengthy process, My Memebox was sent from Korea on Wednesday and was in the UK ready to be delivered by Friday! Sadly I missed my DHL man, so didn't end up getting this to the week after, although I still think in the grand scheme of things this is pretty speedy going considering how far this box had travelled. I loved that you get a tracking number so you know where you box is every step of the way. Although it's not just the uk that Memebox deliver to, in fact memebox is available to an impressive 45 countries directly from Korea.
One of the things I loved most about this box is this handy double sided card which explains which each product is and how to use it. Every single product in this box is full sized, something unheard of with a lot of UK based beauty boxes!
Evas Mimi Lauryne's Dress Perfume Mist de grapefruit ($18.00/150ml) - This is a really lovely grapefruit scented room spray which I've been pretty addicted to since opening this box! It comes in a lovely looking bottle and its a decent amount too.

Karl28 Sunkilling Grapefruit Gel ($30.00/270ml) - This next product retails at double the amount of the box cost meaning you're really getting your moneys worth! It's like Memebox were reading my mind with this one, as the day before I received my this in my Memebox I got really badly sun burnt, after a few days with this my sunburn had disappeared, best of all I used the tiniest amount so I have a feeling this bottle will get me through the whole summer!
Sun Smile Hydro Gel Choosy Fruit ($2 per mask) - Korea is known for its innovative products, so I was super excited to receive these lip marks as I haven't seen anything like this in the UK. I'm really looking forward to putting these to the test and seeing if I can actually last that long with these on! ( The card recommends wearing them for 10-15 minutes)

Happy Fam Deo Fresh Grapefruit ($2/20 wipes) - While these deo wipes are a more practical item, I personally think they're a great idea as they're lightweight and really ideal for travelling! I also think $2 is a really great price point!

The team over at Memebox has been lovely enough to send me a promo code to share with you guys, allowing you to get $5 off your order throughout July, simply enter FC3OSO at the check out. (This is limited to one use per customer). What do you guys think of Memebox?
