What’s in my bag?

I was going to post a review on my new Max factor goodies today, But since I’m feeling rather lazy I’m going to do this quick post instead.

My bag is very practical for me, I have;
My purse which is a nice size for holding my cards, Especially my boots one ;).
I always have to have a book with me for when I get bored, Currently I’m reading Dead kiss by Daniel Waters (I’ve only read 7 chapter’s but its promising so far).
My phone (Go don’t laugh!), This one is currently being used as a replacement as my touch screen broke, I’m actually due a new one in about 5 days..
My hair grip for when my hair starts to annoy me (It happens too much!)
My bottle of water - Quite simply because it’s like the only thing I drink, I love how refreshed it leaves me feeling!
An umbrella because it tends to rain a lot here ¬¬
And of course my cosmetic’s

Max Factor false lash effect- One of my favourite mascaras! Defiantly worth a try!
17 Photo Flawless primer- Leaves me looking and feeling alive on a daily basis – It’s also a great base for foundation!
Soap and Glory Hand Food- I love this brand, this travel size tube is great for keeping my hands soft!
Barry M limited addition lip gloss- Looks great!  Five star worthy!
Soap and Glory Sexy Motherpucker lip gloss- A must- Keeps my lips looking full and shiny!
Palmer’s cocoa butter formula moisturizing lip balm- Keeps my lips in great shape ;)

Revlon nail enamel (Sliver and star)

I picked up these two nail varnishes while shopping because  I loved the colours!

(Left Star, Right Sliver)
Here’s how my nails looked:

Personally I loved the look! The nail varnish didn’t chip for about four days which is so rare for me! And even when it did, I covered the chips in sliver, and added another coat of star- Sorted!
I know what brand I’ll be shopping in for my nail colours from now on!

Rimmel Exaggerate Automatic Waterproof Eye Definer

When I was younger, Rimmel products really appealed to me- But as I have gotten older, I’ve completely forgotten about them. So While I was on holiday I figured I’d give them a chance and pick up a few things. I liked the look of Rimmel Exaggerate Automatic Waterproof Eye Definer so picked one up:
It’s a double sided eyeliner, On one side you get the eyeliner its self;
 And on the other a tip for smudging;
On the left if the eyeliner without smudging, the right is with smudging;

Here's how the eyeliner looked (Without mascara):

And with:

Personally the whole smudging thing doesn’t appeal to me- But despite that it was a great eyeliner. I’m rubbish when it comes to putting most of them on, but I seemed to do okay with this one. It was a great smooth application- something I love in an eyeliner!
The eyeliner is currently £3.99 in boots- Bargain if you ask me, plus at the moment if you spend £6 or more on Rimmel you get a free Rimmel Glam'Eyes Liquid Eye Liner!
What are your views on Rimmel’s Exaggerate Automatic Waterproof Eye Definer?

Ciaté for Marie Claire.

I've always wanted to own some Ciaté paint pots- The bottles are beautiful! When I saw them free with Marie Claire magazine (£3.60) I jumped at the chance!

I chose the 'My fair lady' colour, but I will be going back for the other purpley colour! Below is an image of my painted nails:

I LOVE this nail colour! I normally struggle with lighter colours on my nails, but the application of Ciaté was great! After a couple of coats my nails looked like the above picture! The magazine also offered 25% off everything at Ciaté!

Included in the magazine was also a free Dove hair therapy tube:

I haven't had the chance to use it yet but it smells great!

Will you be buying the September issue of Marie Claire?

No7 Stay perfect Nail colour (Highland Mist) review

After finding this nail coulor in a set I recived for a brithday I had to try it, although I didn’t expect to like it because of the colour. But as a fan of No7 I decided to try it on one nail, I loved the easy application so much I did all my nails. Normaly I make a mess with my nails, But with stay perfect my nails looked great. I fell inlove with the colour when it had dryed, It has a real girly/Classy look to it.
 Here are my nails at the end of day one:

Good as new!
And at the end of day two:

A few chips here and there  most of the ones towards the bottom of the nail are my fault- I had a big habit of picking my nail varish off there, there was one chip that wasn’t down to me though.
Over all: I liked this Nail colour, I’m terrible for picking at my nails, this lated longer than most!  The colour has a great shine to it aswell. After feeling lazy I simpley painted over the chips- You cant tell the difference the varish just seemed to blend in!
What do you think of No7 Stay perfect nail colour?

Peacocks.co.uk

As my friends a peacocks addict I had to look on their site, I was pleased with all the offers I found so put in an order. I expected good service from peacocks, unfortunately this wasn’t the case. I was happy that they had an order tracker so I knew when my order was coming- But it wouldn’t work for me, I had no idea when my order was coming. I had put in my order on the 4th of August, and received a conformation email telling me that they had received my order. I had ordered some tops, shorts and Jewellery for an upcoming holiday at a bargain price (everything had at least 50% off!). I didn’t hear from peacocks until the 9th of August when they informed me they didn’t have some of the items I have ordered. Why did it take them 5 days to tell me this? More importantly why did they let me order them if they didn’t have them? I wouldn’t have minded but the top I had ordered I needed for a party, Peacocks left me rushing around looking for something else- If I would have known earlier I would have been able to find something!
 Later the same day I received an email telling me my order had been dispatched – Dispatched where? My order tracker still wasn’t working! Out of the blue the next day my package arrived from Peacocks- Luckily I was indoors, I had no idea when it was coming!

When I opened the package I found this:
Every thing was tightly packed into the box causing HUGE creases!

Lucky the cut priced accessories I had ordered came neatly in a separate envelope:

Will I be using Peacocks.co.uk again? Quite frankly no. Although the customer service team contacted me on the 11th offering me their ‘Sincere apologies’, and 10% my next order. I won’t be swayed back. I like to have control over my order, I don’t want to be sat in waiting for it- I expect their order tracker to work and the store to update their site with the stock that they have.

Collection 2000 ‘Big Fake false lash effect mascara’

 After hearing about collection 2000’s ‘Big Fake false lash effect mascara’ I decided to pick one up on my latest shopping trip, a 8ml tube is about £4.99 which seems like a reasonable price, I love the design of the tube, It really stands out along with the skyscraper mascara on the Collection 2000 stand- But as I’m a false lash effect lover, I picked this one out of the two;

Above are some images of the mascara. The brush itself was huge, which can normally be expected for false lash effect mascara. Below are the before and after of my eyes;

I found that the brush was maybe a little too big for me and you had to work a little to get that ‘False lash effect’ but The end results were quite pleasing- This mascara is great for if you’re watching what you spend- Although I think I’ll be sticking to Max Factor!
Will you be trying Big Fake false lash effect mascara by Collection 2000?
